It's a story about Mario, a piano salesman who aspires to gain favor in the eyes of Bernice, a member of the Republic of Pro Wrestling.

Pro Wrestling Kyousoukyoku was written by a French Bande dessinée comics artist, Nicolas de Crécy, and it was exclusively serialized in Ultra Jump magazine from August 2014 issue to March 2015 issue. The translation from French into Japanese was done by Hara Masato (), a Bande dessinée comics resercher. The comic book was first published in France as La République du catch by Casterman on April 15, while in the Japan it was on April 17.
