Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on March 3, 2013. Kadokawa has released a revised and illustrated version of the series since March 17, 2014 under its Kadokawa Books label. The series has been published in English as Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody by Yen Press under the Yen On imprint since January 31, 2017.
