After the release of the first volume in 1997, Mythology of the Heavens' content was found too explicit that Hyun Se Lee was charged with contravening the Korean Youth Protection Act. He was found guilty and charged 3 million won, however he appealed and in 2001 he was acquitted and allowed to resume the work. The first two volumes of the series were published in English by Central Park Media from November 1, 2004 to January 1, 2005.
