Liselotte to Majo no Mori went on hiatus in December 2013 to allow the author to recover from an illness. In July 2015, the author announced that she had no immediate plans to relaunch the series. The series was published in English as Liselotte & Witch's Forest by Yen Press from July 26, 2016 to July 18, 2017; and in French by Delcourt since November 5, 2014.
