Muchuu sa, Kimi ni. ranked second in the 2020 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! for the Female Readers division. In the same year, it also won the New Face Award at the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival. It was nominated for the 13th Manga Taisho Award and placed seventh in the final ranking. It won the Short Work Prize at the 24th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2020.
