However, Kaname, a quiet but handsome loner, always seems to beat him in terms of skill. Despite Misaki's jealousy, the two form a bond and work together throughout their studies. But after some harsh words and an unexpected kiss at graduation, all those years of friendship fall apart. Several years later, Misaki continues to hone his skills at a computer animation company when they suddenly bring Kaname on as a freelancer for a big project.
