Bunkou no Hitotachi began serialization in Manga Erotics F until its discontinuance on July 8, 2014. It resumed serialization on webcomic site pocopoco on October 6, 2014, and later transferred to Ohta Web Comic. In December 2015, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government ruled that volume 2 of the series was an "unhealthy publication."
