Kyou no Hon is a compilation of previously released short stories with some newly written stories. The majority of the stories were originally published in conbini-ban (cheap volumes sold at convenience stores) anthologies from 2005 to 2016, and a few stories were previously published in the 1998 volume Kao wo Miruna. The series was published in Indonesian by Elex Media Komputindo.
