Julie is a character of the day who appeared in Game Winning Assist! (AG053). A former Pokémon Coordinator, she now lives on a ranch near Fiery Path, where she takes care of multiple Numel. However, she still makes Pokéblocks for her Pokémon using the Berries that grow on the ranch. After being chased out of Fiery Path by a group of Slugma and tumbling down a hill, Ash and his friends met Julie when they spotted one of her Numel. After introducing themselves, May decided to battle Julie with her newly-caught Skitty so it could gain experience. Overnight, Team Rocket poached all of Julie's Numel. However, May and Skitty were also captured, and they helped them escape. Julie had Ash, Brock, and Max hop in the back of her truck as she pursued Team Rocket. She and her Furret then worked together with Ash's Pikachu to send the trio blasting off. The next day, Julie showed Ash and his friends the way to Mt. Chimney. (Source: Bulbapedia)
