Aschen

Aschenputtel ("Aschen" for short) lives with her stepmother and stepsisters, who bully her into doing the housework and menial tasks. However, Aschen has learned to turn this behavior into something positive, and sees her sisters' jabs as them paying attention to her. One day while playing in a field, Aschen is surprised by prince Balduin. He calls out to her, but Aschen runs away before he can say anything else. Since then, she's harbored a secret crush on him, and is ecstatic when the prince announces a ball at the palace to help him find the girl from that day.
