Ittou Tsurugi

The captain of the Earth Federation Forces' counter-sabotage special investigation brigade BGST ("Barghest"), also know as the Chivalry Squad. He is the eldest son of the Tsurugi clan, the family that founded BGST, and he succeeded his father, Kanesada Tsurugi, as commander in U.C. 0084. Holding the rank of lieutenant colonel, he is affectionally called Youngling by team members. The highly skilled pilot of the Striker Custom, a unique model specializing in melee combat, he possesses keen insight and can identify those who have colluded with Zeon remnants even with limited information. After the One Year War, he found himself troubled by the growing economic disparity within the Earth Sphere. Determined to root out the corruption in the Federation government, he confronts not only Zeon forces, but also various EFF factions, from the Titans to the True Federal.
