Keita Kanai

Iku's best friend since childhood. They both played baseball growing up but after suffering severe injuries from pushing Iku out of the path of a truck he was forced to stop playing, prompting Iku to quit as well. Keita is nonetheless a very upbeat and unconcerned person. When he finally convinces Iku to join the baseball team, Megu takes him on as an assistant manager. (Appears in "Itsuka bokura wa" and "Bokurani matsuwaru etc." stories.) No voice actors have been added to this character.
