Kelvin

A mysterious self-proclaimed "former human" who claims to have been studying the seemingly endless central shaft of the Vertical World for hundreds of years. At some point in his journey, turned his body into a robot so that he would not die of old age. Logical and level-headed at the worst of times. Kelvin is the first individual Ruska encounters on his journey down into the Vertical World, and comes to be a loyal ally; with his robotic body and various contraptions within it proving exceedingly useful in traversal.
