Shotaro Izawa

Appears in Kibitsu no Kama (The Cauldron of Kibitsu). Shotaro is wed to Isora, the daughter of the High Priest of Kibitsu, after he praises her beauty and she insists on marrying him. Although he hails from a family of warriors and land-workers, and the family currently live in abundance, Shotaro is renowned to be impulsive and lazy, and to waste his time gambling and visiting brothels. Once they get married, Shotaro quickly falls back into his old ways and elopes with Sode, his childhood friend and a prostitute he lived with for awhile. Once they run out of the money he had taken from Isora, Shotaro callously asking Sode to abort the pregnancy and resume prostitution in order to support them.
