Appears in Miirareta Kirida Kyouju (How Love Came to Professor Kirida). Kirida was a university professor of literature who taught Sumiko, one of Yuzuho's relatives and an aspiring writer. He was known to be an extreme misanthrope and remained single his entire life, until his mysterious death at the age of 57. In Sumiko's diary, Kirida was described as "sickened" at any hint of someone caring about him, and shunning all types of love from his world — allowing only "sublime beauty".
