Yuriko Izumi

Appears in The Vigil. Yuriko is the lover of a photographer who leaves for another country to document the war. Every night she misses him, and is visited by a black cat. She finally understands why when the photographer's brother gives her some photographs, one of them featuring the photographer with a black cat on his shoulder.
