Claude is a vampire who wanders into Ruslan's village during his travels. Unable to seduce Ruslan and drink his blood, the stubborn Claude faints right outside Ruslan's church, who then takes the opportunity to place his seal on Claude - a seal which supposedly repels other demons, but weakens Claude's powers as well.
