She's the main character of the story. Her grandfather is the leader of the Somei yakuza group in Kansai. She started living in Tokyo due to her arranged marriage. Despite growing up surrounded by yakuza men for most of her life, Yoshino grew up to be a fairly normal, level-headed young woman. She is shown to be independent, responsible and very adaptable, being described by Miyama Kirishima as someone who would start making a home and get comfortable even when cornered, which is true as she was able to completely adjust to her new life in Tokyo. Yoshino holds her pride close to her heart, claiming that without it, she would be considered dead. She also has a deep sense of loyalty to her family and dislikes any actions used to threaten them and their territory. Yoshino is beautiful and tall but despite that she receives criticisms about it, from "The hostess of Umeda" to "Mrs. Divorced with kids" and "Pretty face you get tired of in three days" because she looks more mature in comparison to her classmates.
