Viola

Viola is a 13-year-old girl living in a village on the edge of the forest that Ellen's house is located in. She lives with her father and takes care of the chores of the household. One day, she ventures into the forest despite her father's warnings and comes across Ellen's house and Ellen herself, who presents as a meek, sickly child used to hiding her suffering behind a polite smile. Viola's kindness and pity urge her to return to the house and keep Ellen company despite her being initially repulsed by Ellen's condition.
