An outstanding dramatist whose plays are just starting to take off, Izumi Koyuka is a skittish and temperamental tamayori who is afraid of germs, dogs, and lightning bolts way more than evil spirits. The rabbit on his shoulder is a "tsukumogami", a type of mononoke that is born from old and treasured objects. The play he is currently working on, Yashagaike, cannot be completed until the dragon god Shirayuki returns to the manuscript. [spoler]The rabbit is a memento of his mother whom he lost when he was just nine years old. In the second movie, it is also revealed that it was Tousuke's guardian who helped the rabbit materialize.[/spoiler]
